Rationale: There is often some obvious and diverse functions that I want to perform.
Suggestion: The icons at the bottom of the iPod screens are very useful. Why not use those in other places? For example, on the contacts screen for sort order or to bring up the keyboard. On the folder list screen to bring up typing or collapse/expand all folders. In the browser to indicate that all clicked links goto a new tab, etc.

Rationale: When you have lots of contacts it is faster to type a few letters of their name, then to have to spin the page.
Suggestion: Put a keyboard icon on the bottom of the contacts page which when pressed brings up the keyboard so you can type some or all of the letters of the contact name. (Similar to how the email addresses work when sending mail.)
